Whereas,Ix the Ordinance,adopted by the City Council of the -City-of ..Beaumont, apportioning the taxwx for the year 1914 of forty three cents on each one hundred dollars ($100000) valuation,failed to .apportion sufficient tax to the various funds to take care of same; and Whereas, a new levy e of' forty five and one-half (.45-1/2) cents on each One Hundred Dollars valuation, is necessary to take care of all the various funds,p.ow,therefore, BE IT ORDAINED 'BY THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEATIMONTe- --- - --Section One. Section Two. The fact that the apportionment made by said -Ordinance is insufficient to take care of the valmnus funds of the City, and that a new levy is necessary to provide a sufficient amount to take care of -the interest and provide a sinking fund of two - and one half per cent for the various bond issues creates an emergency and imperative public necessity that said ordinance shall be immediately repealed, and that the rule requiring ° ala ordinances to be read at three Megular meetings be suspan.da4l. Said rule is therefore suspended, and. this Ordinance is placed on its third and final reading, and shall go into force and take effect upon its passage,approval by the Idayor. and 11airf7al publica- tion.
