City of Bwaumont ' codified by McDpwell and Davidson, and adopted by the City j Council of the City of Beaumont, February 7th, A.D.1911, and declaring arri emergency. 11 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COIR,CIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT o Section 1 That Section 5 of Article 384 of the Revised Code of Ordinances of the City of- Beaumont as codified by McDowell and. Davidson, and adopted by the City Council of the City of Beaumont on the 7th day of February, A.D.1911, be amended so as to hereafter read as follows: "See -5:r Said Board of Equalization shall examine the assessment sheets turned over to them by the Assessor and Collector, as provided for in the chapter, and equalize same. Said Board of equalization shall have no authority to assess any -property, but shall have authority only to equalize the valuations as originally. fixed -by the Assessor and Collector." Davidson, and adopted by the City Council of the City of Beaumont on the 7th day of February, A.D.1911, be amended so as to hereafter read as follows: "Sec.5:,1 Said Board of Equalization shall examine the assessment sheets turned over to them by the Assessor and Collector, as provided for in the chapter, and equalize same.
