Entitled an Ordinance apportioning a tax of Forty-
three (.43) cents on each one -hundred (104.00)
Dollars valuation of all taxable ;property within the
limits of the City of Beaumont, Texas, heretofore
levied and ordered to be collected by an Ordinance
passed by t��e City Council of the City of Beaumont
on the ° r' d.a of A.D.19149 and h ch Ordinance
is recorded in the Bo4;k No.3, page of the Ordinances
of said City.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIS, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEA7KONT:-
Section 1.
That the tax of Forty-three (.43) cents on each
one hundred ($,100.00) dollars valuation of all taxable property
within' the limits of the City of B aumont, as levied and
ordered collected by and ordinance passed by the City Council
of the City of Beawnont on the 22,E day of A.D•1914,

one hundred (100.00) dollars valuation of all taxable property

ordered collected by and ordinance passed by the City- Council

Section 2.
That the City Tax Assessor and Collector is hereby
instructed. to pro -rate the said. sum of Atcvo cents according
to the provisions of this ordinance , and to so prepare his statement
and reports to the City Treasurer, that said officer may be able
to place all collections made under said tax to the credit of the
pr oi;er fund , and the same shall not be e9iver to d or u�: e d for any
other purpose.
Section 3.
That all Ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall talo effect and bein force f'ron, and after its final passage,
approval by the ?:Iayor , and lawful Publication.
