HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 12-AAN ORDIN UME To amend article numbered 826 Chapter 3.9 of the Revised Code of Ordinances, adopted by the City of Beau- mont on the 7th day of February, 1911, providing traffic regulations and regulating vehicles in the use of certain streets in the City of Beaumont, and repealing all ordinances in conflict therewith. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: SECTION I. That Article 826 of Chapter 39 of the Revisd.d Code of Ordinances adopted by the City of Beaumont on the 7th day of February, 1911, providing for traffic regulations, rules of the road, regulations of automobiles, and other vehicles, be and the same is hereby amended by adding there- to the following article, which shall be numbered 826-B, and. shall read as follows:- " Article 826-B: It shall be unlawful for any person in charge of any vehicle or domestic animal to allow said vehicle or animal to remain standing for a longer period then thirty ( 30) minutes on Crockett street between Park street and Orleans street ." SECTION II. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed. ry Y2• SECTION III. The confusion arising from congregating and standing vehicles on the part of said, street as above indicated., creates a public emergency and it is therefore ordered that the rules requiring an ordinance to be read at three regular meetings be.suspended., and that this ordinance be put upon its last reading and final passage; also to be in effect and full force from and. after its approval and publication as required by law..
