ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE, ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, AN INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT AGREEMENT WITH E. I. du PONT de
NEMOURS & COMPANY, INCORPORATED, AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK
TO ATTEST THERETO.
Whereas, The City of Beaumont, has, by Ordinance
No. 69-11 established an industrial district comprising a
part of its extraterritorial jurisdiction and desires to
enter into a contract with the owner of land within said
district;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the Mayor, James D. McNicholas, be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of The City of
Beaumont, the Industrial District Agreement, dated February 4 ,
1969, with E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Company, Incorporated
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
attest thereto.
PASSED by the City Council this the 4th day of
February , 1969.
