ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, AN INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AGREEMENT WITH
BETHLEHEM STEEL CORPORATION, AND AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ATTEST THERETO.
Whereas, The City of Beaumont, has, by Ordinance No. 69-7
.established an industrial district comprising a part of its extra-
territorial jurisdiction and desires to enter.into a contract
with the owner of land within said district;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the Mayor, James D. McNicholas, be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of The City of
Beaumont, the Industrial District Agreement, dated January 21st ,
1969, with Bethlehem Steel Corporation and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to attest thereto.

January 1969.
