ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE, ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, AN INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT AGREEMENT WITH TEXAS GULF SULPHUR
COMPANY, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY CLERK TO ATTEST THERETO.
Whereas, The City of Beaumont, has, by Ordinance
No. established an industrial district comprising a
part of its extraterritorial jurisdiction and desires to
enter into a contract with the owner of land within said
district;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the Mayor, James D. McNicholas, be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of The City of
Beaumont, the Industrial District Agreement, dated
January
14,
1969, with Texas Gulf Sulphur
Company,
and the
City Clerk
is hereby authorized and directed to
attest
thereto.
PASSED by the City Council this the 14th day of
January 1969.
