We, your Board of Public Works, to whom was referred an
Ordinance, ordering an election to be held to determine if the bonds of
the City shall be issued

for the purpose of erecting Cit; Wharves, naming the time and places of
holding -the said election, and ar)pointing officers thereof, and pro-
viding for the manner of holding said election paid the giving of notice
thereof," the purpose of the issuance of said bonds being: the con-
structthg and buildinj§ of public wharves within the City of Beaumont,
be.g to aport as follows: We have investigated this matter and are
familiar with the improvements proposed,, and recommend that said ire -
pr overlent s be made -within the. City, and that the election be held in
the order provided.
