2nd; 1902, and, an amendment thereof .passed NovembEr '19; 1907.
BE IT. ORDAINED ,BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE,. CITY.'OF BE AIRAON
That. Article 523, .Chapter 45, .of the:'•Revised,-.Ordinances -of the
City ..of Beaumont, be. so -amended as -to h' ereafter 'read a,s follows,
Article 52.3, the running, at large of horses, mules,,' "j=acks, " j en'nets;
cattle, sheepi" goats�_or, gee.s,e within `so much: of`the liinits.'-.of' Beau�n'nt,
as, is. "included ivithin the following •boundaries., i -s hereby- declared" -td
Beginning at a' point on Long_ Avenue at its -intersection with
Brakes Bayou;; : thence in ,a we.s terly direction,, : a distance of 'about.
'thr.ee' thousand and nine hundred MOO). fee -t to 6i;e center fine of
Gulf Street; ..thence South on Gulf Street,..a distance 'of about thirty
one hundred and eighty- (3180) feet to, the center,, line of South Sheet; --

amending the present boundery lines, of Vs stock limit in the, city of
Beaumont, beg to report that it has considered said ordinance together
with the petitions of citizens, favoring the passage of the ordinance.
and those opposing the passage of said .ordtnance and it finds that a
majority of the citize-_nship residing within the territory proposed to
be included by the amended' ordinance, as shown by copy -of ordinance
hereto attached marked -exhibit A and made a Dart hereof, 'favor it.
Your cormuittee therefore recommends; that the said'ordinance
hereto atte,ched marked exhibit A., be duly passed by this council..
