An Ordinance prohibit.'ingcertain vehicles ' from standing, on i:, certain
streets, in the, City of. •Beaumont and prescribing a penalty therefor:

Section 1:
That it , shall be. unlawful for any vehicle used for
the conveyance ff passengers for hire, .or" any wagon used •for' haul-
ing freight, or bag'gage..'wagons or tehicles of like' character, to
remain standing on :any part of Liberty 'Avenue in"the, City. of Beau- .
moat between where said street intersects OY-leans• and Bonham Streets
and the west side -of 'Alamo'-.Stree't; and Alamo Street be-t�reen Liberty
Avenue and -Laurel: Avenue, except as.' herein provided.
..Section, 2•
-That the" provisions hereof shall not apply. to any
delivery wagon ovmed .and -used by any merchant exclusively- `in trans
porting.'•and delivering, goods,, wares and',.merchandse to and' ,fr.om his,
store house lo•cated�within sai`d'terr.itory; provided ,only- a .reason-

Your committee, to whore was referred the proposed ordin-
ance prohibiting certain vehicles fro: standing on a certain portion
of Tiberty Ave. and Alamo Streets in the City of Beaumont", as shown
?by the ordinance hereto attached, marked "Exhibit A", and made a
part hereof, beg to report that it has duly considered said ordinanc
and recormnend that it be adopted and passed by this Council.
