Regulating the laying off of streets, lots and blocks in the
City limits and requiring them to correspond br conform as near as
practicable with previously established streets of the City of
Beaumont, and requicring the parties laying off such blocks, lots
or streets to furnish the City Engineer a correct map of same for
his approval.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEATIONT
Section 1:
It shall be unlawful for any person, or persons,
corporation or corporations, his, its or their agents or employes,
to lay off any blocks, lots or streets within the limits of the
City of Beaumont without having same to conform as' near as practic-
able with previously laid out blocks, lots or streets of said City.
Section 2:
Provided that when any person, or persons, cor-
poration or corporations, his, its or their agents, or employes,
shall lay off any blocks, lots or streets within the City limits
of the City. of Beaumont, they shall first furnish the City Engineer
of this City, a correct map of same, which shall receive his approval
before same is recorded.
Section 3:
Any person', or persons, corporation, or corponat-
ions, his, its or their agents, or employes, who shall violate any
of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a mis-
demeanor, and upon conviction in the Recorder's Court be fined in

any sum not less than One (01.00) Dollar, nor more than One Hundred
(;100.00) Dollars.

shall lay off any blocks, lots or streets within the City limits
of the City. of Beaumont, they shall first furnish the City Engineer
of this City, a correct map of same, which shall receive his approval
before same is recorded.
Section 3:
Any person' or persons, corporation, or corponat-
ions, his, its or their agents, or employes, who shall violate any
of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a mis-
demeanor, and upon conviction in the Recorder's Court be fined in
any sum not less than One ($1.00) Dollar, nor bmor e than One Hundred
($100.00) Dollars.
Section 4:
All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.

Section 5:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, publication and approval by the mayor.
