Section 1: That the right and privilege is heraby granted
to the Beaumont Wharf & Terminal ''orll).ny to build and maintain
a spur track
connecting
the
track
of the said Beaumont
Wharf
8: Terminal
C,omany as it
now
exists
on Long Ab:genua with
the track
of the Gulf, Reaumont & Kansas City Railway Com7mny at a point
near Hazel Avenue; said spur track being more particularly shorn
by red line markod upon plat or blue print hereto attached and
made a part hereof.
Section 2 • the right and privilege to cross any at -Teat or
allay necessary fo:c the purpose of building said spur track as
same is shorn on 'blue print hereto attached is hereby given and
granted unto the said Beaumont Wharf & Terminal Company.
Section 3: The above -rights and privileges are granted to
said 'Reaunont 17harfi. &Terminal no,�vrany upon the condition that
said track ba built �? thin twelve (12) months from the date of
the passage of this ordinance, and that at all points %t.er_-e said

BEAUMONT, TEXAS.
GENT LEMEN:-
Your Committee to whom was referred the proposed
franchise ordinance, granting to the Beaumont :Wharf & Terminal
Company, the right to build and maintain a spur -track from a Point
on the main line of the Gulf, Beaumont €. Kansas City Railway Company,
near its Depot on Calder Avenue, to a point on the line of the
Beaumont Wharf €o Terminal Company on Long Avenue, as shown by the
proposed franchise ordinance hereto attached marked "Exhibit All
and the map hereto attached marked "Exhibit b" and.made a part
hereof, beg to report that it has duly considered said proposed
franchise ordinance, a.nd find:
That it would not only be to the interest of the
Railway Company , but the industrial institution of the City to
build said spur track.
Your Committee, therefore, recommends: -
That the said proposed franchise ordinance, hereto
attached marked !'Exhibit All and made a part hereof be duly adopted
and passed by this Council.
Respectfully submitted on this the 19th day of
April, A.D., 1910.
