ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, ADOPTED ON JUNE 26, 1968,
BY TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM ACCOUNTS 999 CON-
TINGENCY APPROPRIATION; 901-A-6 GENERAL FUND
AND 1503-E-16 WATER FUND TO SEVERAL GENERAL
FUND AND WATER FUND ACCOUNTS WHICH HAVE
EXHAUSTED THEIR APPROPRIATIONS.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the'transfer
of certain unencumbered appropriation balances from the accounts
listed on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, to the accounts listed
on Exhibit ",B" attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the need for
these transfers constitutes an unforeseen condition and creates
a case of grave public necessity and that the recommendation
of the City Manager should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
I.
That the budget of the City of Beaumont adopted on
June 26, 1968, for the fiscal year beginning.July 1, 1968 and
ending June 30, 1969, be and the same is hereby amended by
taking the amounts of money indicated on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto, out of the accounts listed on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto, (which Exhibit "A" consisting of 1 page is hereby
incorporated by reference as if set out in full at this point),
and transferring the amounts of money indicated on Exhibit "B"
attached hereto to the accounts listed on Exhibit "B" attached
hereto (which Exhibit "B" consisting of 1 page is hereby
incorporated by reference as if set out in full at this point).
PASSED by the City Council this 27th day of June, 1969.
