ORDINANCE NO. �-
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, ADOPTED ON JUNE 26, 1968,
BY TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER 999,
CONTINGENCY APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT NUMBER
901-G-13 GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the transfer
of certain unencumbered appropriation balances from Account
Number 999, Contingency Appropriation to Account Number 901-G-13
General Fund; and,
WHEREAS, the City .Council finds that the need for this
transfer constitutes an unforeseen condition and creates a case
of grave public necessity and that the recommendation of the
City Manager should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
I.
That the budget of The City of Beaumont adopted on
June 26, 1968, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1968 and
ending June 30, 1969, be and the same is hereby amended by
taking $864.00 out of Account Number 999, Contingency Appropri-
ation and transferring the $864.00 to Account Number 901-G-13,
General Fund.
PASSED by the City Council this 24th day of June, 1969.
