ENTITLED AN,ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, ADOPTED ON JUNE 263 1968,
BY TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM SEVERAL GENERAL
FUND, WATER FUND AND SEWER FUND ACCOUNTS WITH
UNENCUMBERED APPROPRIATION BALANCES TO OTHER
GENERAL FUND, WATER FUND AND SEWER FUND ACCOUNTS
WHICH HAVE EXHAUSTED THEIR APPROPRIATIONS.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the transfer
of certain unencumbered'appropriation balances from the accounts
listed on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, to.the accounts listed
on Exhibit "B" attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the need for these
transfers constitutes an unforeseen condition and creates a case
of grave public necessity and that the recommendation of the City
Manager should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
I.
Tnat the budget of the City of Beaumont adopted on June
26, 1968, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1968 and ending
June 30, 1969, be and the same is hereby amended by taking the
amounts of money indicated on Exhibit "A" attached hereto,
out of the accounts listed on Exhibit 01A" attached hereto, (which
Exhibit 11A" consisting of 7 pages is hereby incorporated by
reference as if set out in full at this point), and transferring
the amounts of money indicated on Exhibit "B" attached hereto,
to the accounts listed on Exhibit "B" attached hereto (which
Exhibit "B," consisting of 6 pages is hereby incorporated by
reference as if set out in full at this point).
PASSED by the City Council this �` day of June, 1969.
