ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT, ADOPTED ON JUNE 26, 1968, BY
TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER 999, CON-
TINGENCY APPROPRIATION AND FROM ACCOUNTS NUMBER
306,A-2, 306-A-3, 306-A-44, 306-B-4, 306-C-1, AND
306-D-1 SANITATION TO ACCOUNTS NUMBER 306-A-1,
306-B-1, 306-B-6, 306-B-13, 306-B-14, 306-D-9,
306-E-13 306-E-2, 306-E-4, 306-E-16, 306=F-23
306-F-4, 306-F-11, 306-F-13, 306-G-5, 306-G-84
306-G-9, AND 306-Z-2 SANITATION.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the transfer of
certain unencumbered appropriation balances from Account Number
999, Contingency Appropriation and from Accounts Number 306-A-2,
306-A-3, 306-A-4, 306-B-4, 306-C-1 and 306-D-1 Sanitation to
Accounts Number 306-A-1, 306-B-111 306-B-6, 306-B-13, 306-B-14,
306-D-9, 306-E-1, 306-E-2, 306-E-4, 306-E-16, 306-F-2, 306-F-4,
306-F-11, 306-F-13, 306-G-5, 306-G-8, 306-G-9 and 306-Z-2
Sanitation; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the need for these
an
transfers constitute/unforeseen condition and creates a case of
grave public necessity and that the recommendation of the City
Manager should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
I.
That the budget of the City of Beaumont adopted on June 26,
1968, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1968 and ending June
30, 1969, be and the same is hereby amended by taking the following
amounts of money from the following accounts:
