ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE AGREEMENT
DATED APRIL 30, 1969, BETWEEN THE SOUTHERN
PACIFIC COMPANY, THE ATCHISON TOPEKA AND SANTA
FE RAILWAY COMPANY, THE KANSAS CITY SOUTHERN
RAILWAY COMPANY, THE MISSOURI PACIFIC RAIL-
ROAD COMPANY AND THE CITY OF BEAUMONT RELATING
TO PHASE I OF THE BEAUMONT RAILROAD RELOCATION
AND GRADE SEPARATION PROGRAM; AND PROVIDING
FOR THE EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
1.
That the certain agreement dated April 30, 1969, be-
tween The Southern Pacific Company, The Atchison Topeka and
Santa Fe Railway Company, The Kansas City Southern Railway
Company, The Missouri Pacific Railroad Company and The City of
Beaumont relating to Phase I of the Beaumont Railroad Relo-
cation and Grade Separation Program be and the same is hereby
approved and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said
agreement on behalf of The City of Beaumont.
