ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
THE NORTH FOUR (4') FEET OF THE TWENTY (20')
FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED UPON LOT 23,
BLOCK 75 CALDWOOD FOREST ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the North four (4') feet of the twenty (20') foot utility
easement, as hereinafter described, in the City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, be and the same is hereby vacated
and abandoned, said easement to be abandoned being described
as follows, to wit:
Being the north 4 feet of that certain 20 foot
utility easement lying and situated upon the
south 20 feet of Lot 2, Block 7, Caldwood Forest
Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas, according to the map or plat of
said addition of record in the office of the
County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, such
part or portion of said 20 foot utility easement
being described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the east right-of-way
line of the Briggs Street 60 foot right-of-way
and in the west property line of Lot 2, Block 7,
said addition, said point being 20 feet north
of the southwest corner of Lot 2, Block 7, said
addition;
THENCE East along a line parallel to and 20 feet
north of the south line of said Lot 2, Block 7,
said addition, a distance of 118 feet to a point
for corner in the east line of Lot 2, Block 7,
said addition;
THENCE South along the east lot line of Lot 2,
Block 7, said addition a distance of 4 feet to
a point for corner, said point being 16 feet
north of the southeast corner of Lot 2, Block 7,
said addition;
THENCE West along a line parallel to and 16 feet
north of the south line of Lot 2, Block 7, said
addition, a distance of 118 feet to a point for
corner, said point being in the east right-of-way
line of the Briggs Street 60 foot right-of-way,
and in the west property line of Lot 2, Block 7,
said addition;
THENCE North alongthe east right-of-way line of
the Briggs Street 60 foot right-of-way and the
west property line of Lot 2, Block 7, said addition,
PASSED by the City Council this the 10th day of
June, 1969.
