ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A FIVE (5) FOOT STREET LIGHT EASEMENT ON LOTS
FIFTEEN (15) AND SIXTEEN (16), BLOCK ONE (1),
DOWLEN WEST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That that certain five (5) foot wide easement for street light
purposes described as follows:
BEING that certain dedicated five (5) foot
wide street light easement in and along and
two and one-half (2 1/2) feet on each side
of the common side lot lines of Lots 15 & 16,
Block 1, Dowlen West Addition to the City of
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, said ease-
ment extending from the east line of the
Lockwood Drive 60 foot right-of-way on the
west to the rear or east line of Block 1, said
Dowlen West Addition and being recorded in the
Map Records of Jefferson County, Texas, in
Volume 11, page 6,
be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, and that -title
to such property shall revert to and become the property of the
persons entitled thereto, as provided by law; and The City of
Beaumont hereby relinquishes any and all right, title and
interest it had or may have had in and to such easement.
PASSED by the City Council this 16th day of December,
1969.
