ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, ADOPTED ON JUNE 27, 19693,
BY TRANSFERRING.FUNDS FROM GENERAL FUND ACCOUNT
NUMBER 999 G-14, CONTINGENCY APPROPRIATION TO
ACCOUNTS NUMBER 201 A-3, 201 F-9 AND 201 Z-23
PUBLIC SAFETY, POLICE.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the transfer
of certain unencumbered appropriation balances from General
Fund Account Number 999 G-14, Contingency Appropriation to
Accounts Number 201 A-31 201 F-9 and 201 Z-2, Public Safety,
Police; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the need for
these transfers constitute an unforeseen condition and creates
a case of grave public necessity and that the recommendation
of the City Manager should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:

That the budget of The City of Beaumont adopted on
,Tune 27, 1969, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1969 and
ending June 30, 1970, be and the same is hereby amended by
taking $16,150 out of General Fund Account Number 999 G-141
Contingency Appropriation and transferring the following
amount of money to the following accounts:
ACCOUNT NUMBER AMOUNT
201 A-3 - Police - Operations - Salaries $14,000.00
201 F-9 - Police - Training 1,350.00
201 Z-2 - Police - Capital Outlay - Equipment 800.00
Total - General Fund $16,150.00
PASSED by the City Council this the 25th day of Novem-
ber, 1969.
