ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A TEN FOOT (10') UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT
LOCATED ALONG THE COMMON SIDE LOT LINES OF
LOTS SEVENTEEN (17) AND EIGHTEEN (18), -BLOCK
SIX (6), VIRGINIA ESTATES ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE'IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the Ten Foot (10') utility and drainage easement, as
herein described, in The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, said
utility and drainage easement to be abandoned being described
as follows, to wit:
BEING a ten foot (10') utility and drainage
easement, ninety-five feet (95') in length,
lying five feet (5') either side of the
common lot lines of Lots Seventeen (17) and
Eighteen (18), Block Six (6), of the Virginia
Estates Addition to the City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, as recorded in the
Jefferson County Map Records in Volume 10,
page 196, and being out -of Block Eight (8)
and a part of Block Five (5) of the Annie
T. Warren Subdivision in the J. W. Bullock
League of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas,
and being more particularly described as
follows:
FOR A. LOCATIVE POINT begin in the west right-
of-way line of the St. Louis Street sixty
foot (60') right-of-way, said point being the
northeast corner of Lot Seventeen (17), Block
Six (6), said Virginia Estates Addition to
the City of Beaumont, Texas, and the southeast
corner of Lot Eighteen (18), Block Six (6),
said addition;
THENCE in a westerly direction along the common
side lot lines of said Lots Seventeen (17) and
Eighteen (18), Block Six (6), said addition, a
distance of ten feet (10') to the PLACE OF
BEGINNING of the ten foot (10') utility and
drainage easement hereinafter described;
THENCE in a northerly direction along a line
parallel to and ten feet (10') west of the
west right-of-way line of St. Louis Street a
distance of five feet (5') to a point for
corner;
THENCE in a westerly direction along a line
parallel to and five feet (5') north of the
common side lot lines of Lots Seventeen (17)
and Eighteen (18), Block Six (6), said
addition a distance of ninety-five feet.(95')
to a point for corner, said point lying
fifteen feet (15') east of the east right-of-
way line of the Drainage District No. 6 Usan
Street Drainage Ditch;
THENCE in a southerly direction along a line
parallel to and one hundred and five feet.
(105') west of the west right-of-way line of
St. Louis Street a distance of ten feet (10')
to a point for corner, said point lying five
feet (5') south of the north lot line of Lot.
Seventeen (17), Block Six (6), said addition;
THENCE in an.easterly direction along a line
five feet (5') south of and parallel to the
north lot line of Lot.Seventeen (17), Block
Six (6), said addition, same being five feet
(5') south of the common side lot lines of
Lots Seventeen (17) and Eighteen (18), Block
Six (6), said addition a distance of ninety-
five feet (95') to a point for corner, said
point being ten feet (10') west of the west
right-of-way line of St. Louis Street;
THENCE in a northerly direction a distance of
five feet (5') to a point for corner, said
point being the PLACE OF BEGINNING of the herein
described ten foot.(10') utility and drainage
easement to be abandoned.
