ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE
PROPER OFFICIALS OF BEAUMONT TO EX-
ECUTE AND DELIVER FOR AND BEHALF ON
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT A QUIT CLAIM DEED
CONVEYING ALL OF THE CITY'S RIGHT, TITLE
AND INTEREST IN AND TO ALL OF THAT ABAN-
DONED RIGHT-OF-WAY OF THE MISSOURI PACIFIC
RAILROAD COMPANY ADJACENT TO AND ABUTTING
LOT 10, IN BLOCK 24, OF THE JARRETTE AD-
DITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON
COUNTY, TEXAS, TO HARRY A. MONSUR AND JAMES
MONSUR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That Kenneth Ritter, Mayor, be and he is hereby, authorized to
execute and deliver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a
quitclaim deed to Harry A. Monsur and James Monsur, conveying
all of the City's right, title and interest in and to the
hereinafter described property:
BEING that certain portion of the aban-
-doned Missouri Pacific Railroad Company's
(Beaumont, Sour Lake and Western Rail-
road Company) 100 foot wide railroad
right-of-way, lying south of and ad-
jacent to the south line of Lot 10,
Block 24, Jarrette Addition of the City
of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas,
said portion of abandoned railroad right-
of-way extending south from the south
line of said Lot 10, Block 24, Jarrette
Addition a distance which would include
and consist of half the width of the
aforementioned abandoned railroad
right-of-way and said portion also
lying west of and adjacent to the west
right-of-way line of the 60 ft. wide
18th Street.
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instru-
ment and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
