ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A FIVE (5) FOOT STREET LIGHT EASEMENT ON LOTS
SIX (6) AND SEVEN (7), BLOCK SEVEN (7), PEAR
ORCHARD ESTATES ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAU-
MONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED `
HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That that certain five (5) foot wide easement for street light
purposes described as follows:
Being that certain dedicated five (5) foot wide
street light easement in and along and two and
one-half (2. 1/2) feet on each side of the com-
mon side lot lines of Lots Six (6) and Seven
(7), Block Seven (7), Pear Orchard Estates
Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas, said easement extending from the
east right-of-way line of Fortune Lane on the
west and thence east a distance of 116.01 feet
to a point fifteen (15) feet west of the rear
or east line of Block Seven (7), said -Pear
Orchard Estates Addition, and being recorded in
the Map Records of Jefferson County, Texas, in
Volume 11, page 12,
be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, and -that title
to such property shall revert to and become the property of
the persons entitled thereto, as provided by law; and The
City of Beaumont hereby relinquishes any and all right, title
and interest it had or may have in and to such easement.
PASSED by the City Council this the 25th day of August,
1970.
