ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, ADOPTED ON JUNE 275 1969,
BY TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER 303,
PUBLIC WORKS ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL AND ACCOUNT
NUMBER 901 G-4, OTHER CHARGES - JUDGMENTS AND
DAMAGES, WITH UNENCUMBERED APPROPRIATION
BALANCES TO ACCOUNT NUMBER 305 Z-_16, PUBLIC
WORKS,STREET - CAPITAL OUTLAY (STREET REHABIL-
ITATION) FUND ACCOUNT, WHICH HAS EXHAUSTED ITS
APPROPRIATIONS.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the transfer
of certain unencumbered appropriation balances from Account
Number 303, Public Works Environmental Control and Account
Number 901 G-4, Other Charges - Judgments and Damages to
Account Number 305 Z-16, Public Works, Street - Capital Outlay
(Street Rehabilitation) Fund Account; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the need for
this transfer constitutes an unforeseen condition and creates
a case of grave public necessity and that the recommendation
of the City Manager should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
1.
That the budget of The City of Beaumont adopted on
June 27, 1969, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1969 and
ending June 30, 1970, be and the same is hereby amended by
taking $48,706.00 out of Account Number 303, Public Works
Environmental Control and $8,000.00 out of Account Number
901 G-4, Other Charges - Judgments and Damages, with unen-
cumbered appropriation balances, and transferring the $56,706.00
