ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, ADOPTED ON JUNE 27, 1969,
BY TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER
305 Z-15, PUBLIC WORKS -STREET TO ACCOUNT NUMBER
305 Z-163 PUBLIC WORKS -STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the transfer
of certain unencumbered appropriation balances from Account
Number 305 Z-15, Publid Works -Street to Account Number 305 Z-16,
Public Works -Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the need for this
transfer constitutes an unforeseen condition and creates a
case of grave public necessity and that the recommendation of
the City Manager should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
1.
That the budget of the City of Beaumont adopted on
June 27, 1969, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1969 and
ending June 30, 1970, be and the same is hereby amended by
taking $149,478.68 out of Account Number 305 Z-15, Public Works -
Street - Street Participation and transferring the $149,478.68
to Account Number 305 Z-16, Public Works -Street - Street
Rehabilitation.
PASSED by the City Council this 12th day of May, 1970.
