ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO CONSENT TO AN
ASSIGNMENT BY PENNZOIL UNITED, INC.,
TO UNITED GAS, INC., OF ALL THE
RIGHTS OF PENNZOIL, INC., UNDER AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT AND UNITED GAS CORPORATION,
DATED JUNE 163 1964, COVERING THE
CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION AND MAIN-
TENANCE OF A GAS REGULATOR AND THE
APPURTENANCES THERETO ON A PORTION
OF LOT 22, BLOCK 30, OF THE JARRETT
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute,
on behalf of The City of Beaumont, an instrument consenting
to the assignment by Pennzoil United, Inc., to United Gas,Inc.,
of all the rights of Pennzoil, Inc. under an agreement be-
tween The City of Beaumont and United Gas Corporation dated
June 16, 1964, covering the construction, operation and main-
tenance of a gas regulator and appurtenances thereto on a
portion of Lot 22, Block 30 of the Jarrett Addition to The
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.

herewith are repealed to the extent of a conflict only.
