WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the transfer
of certain unencumbered balances from Accounts Number 202 G-5
and 202 G-9, Traffic to Accounts Number 202 A-3 and 202 E-2,
Traffic; from Accounts Number 203 G-6 and 203 A-3, Fire to
Accounts Number 203 A-2, 203 A-4, 203 B-1, 203 B-7, 203 D-1,

WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the'need for
these transfers constitute an unforeseen condition and creates
a case of grave public necessity and that the recommendation
of the City Manager should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT :

That the budget of The City of Beaumont adopted on
June 27, 1969, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1969
and ending June 30, 1970, be and the same is hereby amended
by taking $400.00 out of Account Number 202-G-5 - Traffic
State Retirement and by taking $200.00 out of 202-G-9 -
Traffic - Employee Insurance, and transferring the following
amounts of money to the following accounts:
202-A-3 - Traffic - Salaries -Operations $ 500.00
202-E-2 - Traffic - Machinery -Tools 100.00
