ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, ADOPTED ON JUNE 27, 1969,
BY TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER
999 G-14, CONTINGENCY APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNTS
NUMBER 104 A-2, 104 G-5, 104 G-8, 104 G-9 and 104 Z-2,
FINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the transfer of
certain unencumbered appropriation balances from Account Number
999 G-14, Contingency Appropriation to Accounts Number 104 A-2,
104 G-5, 104 G78, 104 G-9 and 104 Z-2, Finance; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the need for these transfers
constitute an unforeseen condition and creates a case of grave public
necessity and that the recommendation of the City Manager should be
approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT:
That the budget of The City of Beaumont adopted on June 27, 1969,
for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1969 and ending June 30, 1970, be and
the same is hereby amended by taking $Z,'994. 50 out of Account Number
999 G-14, Contingency Appropriation and transferring the following amounts
of money to the following accounts:
104 A-2
- Finance
- Salaries and Wages

104 G-5
- Finance
- State Retirement
97.00
104 G-8
- Finance
- Social Security
