ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT
LEASING CERTAIN CITY PROPERTY TO BULLINGM N OLDSMOBILE
INC., FOR A TERM OF FIVE (5) YEARS IN CONSIDERATION OF
PAYMENT OF MONTHLY RENTALS IN THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED
FIFTY ($150.00) DOLLARS PER MONTH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a
lease agreement leasing to Bullington Oldsmobile, Inc., the fo11ew-
ing described property, to -wit:
Being a tract of land out of the James Drake Survey,
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, and being
part of Block 7 of the unrecorded plat of the Mc-
Faddin Heights Addition to said city and being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the intersection -of the present west line
of Valentine Street and the present south line of Inter-
state Highway 10 East, said point also being the north-
east corner of said Block 7 of the unrecorded plat of
the McFaddin Heights Addition;
Thence West along the present south line of said Inter-
state Highway 10 East one hundred fifty and zero hun-
dredths (150.00) feet to corner;
Thence South along a line parallel with and one hundred
fifty and zero hundredths (150.00) feet distant from
the present west line of Valentine Street one hundred
fifty and zero hundredths (150.00) feet to point for
corner;
Thence East along a line parallel with and one hundred
fifty and zero hundredths (150.00) feet distant from
the present south line of said Interstate Highway 10
one hundred fifty and zero hundredths (150.00) feet to
point in the present west line of Valentine Street;
Thence North along the present west line of Valentine
Street one hundred and fifty and zero hundredths (150.00)
feet to the place of beginning.
The above described tract of land contains 22,500 square
feet.
for a term of five (5) years at a consideration of one hundred fifty
($150.00) dollars per month, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized
to attest said instrument and to affix the seal of The City of
Beaumont thereto.
