ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
THAT PORTION OF THE 13TH STREET SIXTY FOOT
(60') WIDE RIGHT-OF-WAY EXTENDING SOUTH FROM
THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF THE SIXTY FOOT
(601) WIDE LIBERTY AVENUE A DISTANCE OF 135
FEET, AS DESCRIBED -HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That that portion of the 13th Street right-of-way, as herein-
after described, in The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, said
portion of the 13th Street right-of-way to be abandoned being
described as follows, to wit:
Being that certain portion of the 13th Street
60 foot wide right-of-way extending south from
the south right-of-way line of the 60 foot wide
Liberty Avenue a distance of 135 feet, and being
more particularly described as follows:
FOR PLACE OF BEGINNING begin at a point in the
south line of Liberty Avenue at its intersection
with the east line of 13th Street, same being
the northwest corner of Lot 12, Block 34, Jarrette
Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas;
THENCE west along the south right-of-way line of
Liberty Avenue a distance of 60 feet to a point
for corner in the west right-of-way line of 13th
Street, same being the northeast corner of Lot 1,
Block 35, said Jarrette Addition to the City of
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
THENCE south along the west right-of-way line of
13th Street, same being the east property line of
said Lot 1, Block 35, Jarrette Addition, a dis-
tance of 135 feet to a point for corner in the
southeast corner of said Lot 1, Block 35, Jarrette
Addition;
THENCE east a distance of 60 feet to a point for
corner in the southwest corner of Lot 12, Block
34, Jarrette Addition;

THENCE north along the east right-of-way line
of 13th Street, same being the west property
line of said Lot 12, Block 34, Jarrette Addi-
tion, a distance of 135 feet to the PLACE OF
BEGINNING, containing in area 8,100 square feet
or 0.19 acres, more or less.
