ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A THIRTY (301) FOOT BY ONE HUNDRED THIRTEEN
POINT FIVE (113.5') FOOT STREET OR ALLEY
EASEMENT IN THE DAVID BROWN LEAGUE IN BEAUMONT,
JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT.ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That that certain thirty (301) foot by one hundred thirteen
point five (113.5') foot street or alley easement described
as follows:
Being a 30 foot by 113.5 foot street or alley
easement dedicated by deed dated April 19, 1897
from A. R. Wilson, et al, to Sisters of Charity
of the Incarnate Word, Galveston, Texas (now
Houston, Texas)., recorded in Volume 14, page
374, Deed Records, Jefferson County, Texas,
and being more particularly described as follows:
FOR a locative point begin at the northwest
corner of the intersection:of the 50 foot wide
Buford Street and the 25 foot wide Eula Street;
thence south 89° 41' 30" west along the north
right-of-way line of Buford Street a distance
of 387.8 feet to a point for corner, said
point being the Place of Beginning_ of the herein
described tract of land;
THENCE in a northerly direction a distance of
113.5 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE in a westerly direction a distance of.30
feet to a point for corner;
THENCE in a southerly direction a distance of
113.5 feet to a point for corner in the north
right-of-way line of Buford Street;
THENCE north 890 41' 30" east along the north
right-of-way line of Buford Street a distance
of 30 feet to the Place of Beginning, said
tract described above containing 3405.0 square
feet of land and lying in the David Brown
League in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, and that
title to such property shall revert to and become the property
of the persons entitled thereto, as provided by law; and the
City of Beaumont hereby relinquishes any and all rights,
title and interest�it.had or may have in and to such easement.
