ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, ADOPTED JUNE 25, 1971, BY APPROPRIATING
FUNDS FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED RESERVE TO VARIOUS OTHER
ACCOUNTS IN ORDER TO IMPLEMENT THE POSITION CLASSIFI-
CATION -COMPENSATION PLAN.
WHEREAS, by ordinance numbered — % , the City Council
has adopted the position classification -compensation plan; and
WHEREAS, in order to implement said position classification -
compensation plan, it is necessary to transfer funds from the unappropriated
reserve to the various accounts within the budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
1.
That the budget of the City of Beaumont adopted on June 25, 1971,
for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1971, and ending June 30, 1972, be
and the same is hereby amended by taking $77,496.00 out of the
unappropriated reserve of General, Water and Sewer Funds and transferring
the following amounts of money to the following accounts:
