ORDINANCE NO. p�_3
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE IV OF
CHAPTER 42 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES BY AMEND-
ING SECTION 42-44; ADOPTING OFFICIAL STREET
CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS DATED FEBRUARY 1, 1972)
AND OFFICIAL STREET CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS
DATED FEBRUARY 1, 1972, WITH AMENDMENTS THERETO
DATED JUNE 133 1972; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
AND PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
Section 1.
That Section 42-44 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Beaumont be amended, which said amended Section 42-44
shall read as follows:
"Sec. 42-44. Official Street Construction
Stan ar s ana Speci ications
Adop ted
"The Official Street Construction Standards
dated February 1, 1972, with amendments dated
June 13, 1972, and the Official Street Construction
Specifications dated February 1, 1972, with amend-
ments dated June 13, 1972, for the construction
of streets in the City of Beaumont are hereby
incorporated into and made a part of this section
by reference and shall be on file in the Office
of the City Clerk."
Section 2.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or
phrase of this ordinance or the application of same to.a
particular set of persons or circumstances should for any
reason be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall in no
wise affect the remaining portions of this ordinance and to
such end the various portions and provisions of this ordinance
are declared to be severable.
Section 3.
That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
