ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE
ISSUANCE OF $1,000,000 CITY OF-BEAUMONT,'TEXAS,
WATERWORKS SYSTEM` REVENUE BONDS', SERIES''197'2=A"-

CITY OF BEAUMONT §
WHEREAS, on June 6, 1972, the'City.Council of the City
of Beaumont, Texas, adopted an ordinance authorizing the issu-
ance of $130003000 City of Beaumont, Texas', Waterworks System
Revenue Bonds; Series 1972-A, dated.June'l, 1972; and
WHEREAS, due to a clerical error the Texas Commerce
Bank National Association, Houston, Texas, was not shown as
one of the paying agents for such bonds, apd said ordinance
should;be amended solely for the purpose,of correcting 'such
clerical.error; Therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1. That Article IV of the ordinance mentioned
in the preamble hereof shall be, and it is hereby, amended, so
that the Series 1972-A Bonds authorized by said ordinance shall
be shown, both in the FORM.OF BONDS and.in the FORM OF INTEREST
COUPONS,, as being payable at the Texas Commerce Bank National
Association, Houston, Texas, or, at the option of the holder,
at The American National Bank of Beaumont, Texas.
Section _2. That, except.as hereinabove amended, said
ordinance shall remain and be in fullforce and effect.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage..

GENERAL OBLIGATION"- BONDS' ` SERIES 1972

WHEREAS, on June'6, 1972,.the City Council of,.the City
of Beaumont, Texas; adppted-an ordinance authorizing the issu-
ance of $3,750,000 City of -Beaumont, Texas,. General Obligation
Bonds; Series 1972., dated June 1, 1972; and
WHEREAS, .due to a clerical error the Texas Commerce Bank
National, Association, Houston, Texas, was not shown as one of
the paying agents for.such bonds, and said Qrdinance,should be
amended .solely for the purpose of correcting such clerical error;
1. Therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
That. Section 5
of
the ordinance mentioned in
the preamble hereof.shall
be, and -it
is hereby, amended, so that
