ORDINANCE
ORDINANCE NO. 73-12
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER
123 1972, BY TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM THE
RESERVE BALANCE TO ACCOUNT NUMBER 92-D-4.

WHEREAS, emergency repairs have become necessary to
the Langham Road Sanitary Sewer; and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the transfer
of certain unencumbered appropriation balances from the Reserve
Balance to Account'Number 92-D-4; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the need for
this transfer constitutes an unforeseen condition and creates
a case of grave public necessity andtha-t the recommendation
of the City Manager should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE,. BE IT ORDAINED_BY.THE__
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
1.
That the budget of the City of Beaumont adopted on
September 12, 1973, for the fiscal year beginning October 1,
1972, and ending September 30, .1973, be and the same is hereby
amended by taking $50,000.00 out of the Reserve Balance and
transferring the said $50,000.00 to Account Number 92-D-4.
