ORDINANCE NO. 73-45
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF
THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND AND N0/100 ($35,000.00)
DOLLARS FROM UNENCUMBERED, REVENUE SHARING FUNDS
TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM PROJECT 11-B-03;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERA-
BILITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont has received a greater
allotment of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds than was originally
expected; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
sum of thirty-five thousand and no/100 ($35,000.00) dollars
should be transferred from such unencumbered Revenue Sharing
Funds to the Capital Improvements Program Project 11-B-03, for
the construction of a fire -training facility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
Section 1.
That the sum of thirty-five thousand and no/100($35,000.00)
dollars is hereby transferred from unencumbered Revenue Sharing
Funds to the Capital .Improvements Program Project 11-B-03.
Section 2.
All ordinances ,or parts of. -.ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
Section 3.
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase
of this ordinance, or the application of same to the particular
set of persons or circumstances, should for any reason be held
invalid,.such invalidity shall in no wise affect the remaining
portions of this ordinance and to such end the various provisions
of tHs ordinance are declared to be'severable.
