ORDINANCE NO. 73-40
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO.
73 -32 -PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT ON THE 17TH DAY OF -APRIL, -1973;
AND ORDERING THE -FINANCE DEPARTMENT -OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT TO RETURN ALL MONIES PAID IN
UNDER SAID ORDINANCE AS PAYMENT FOR THE PAVING
OF -CENTRAL DRIVE FROM GLADYS AVENUE NORTH TO
EAST DRIVE; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
Section 1.
The City Council of The City of Beaumont, Texas, here-
by repeals Ordinance No:, 73-32,as-passed. by the City Council
of The City of Beaumont, Texas, on the 17th day of April, 1973.
Section 2.
The City Council of The City of.Beaumont, Texas, here-
by orders the Finance Department of The City of Beaumont, Texas,
to return all monies paid in under said Ordinance No. 73-32 to
the person making such payment.
Section 3.
If a portion or provision of this ordinance be held
invalid or unconstitutional, the validity of the remaining
provisions shall not be affected thereby and for this purpose,
the City Council of The City of Beaumont declares this ordi-
nance to be severable.
