ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFI-
CIALS OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER
FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT A QUIT-
CLAIM DEED CONVEYING ALL OF THE CITY?'S RIGHT, TITLE
AND INTEREST IN AND TO THE NORTH 8 FEET OF LOTS 1,
2, AND 3 AND THE NORTH 10 FEET OF LOT 4, BLOCK 7,
CALDWOOD ACRES ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, TO THE STATE OR TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That Jack M. Moore, Mayor, be, and he is hereby, authorized to exe-
cute and deliver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a quit-
claim deed to the State of Texas, acting by and through the State
Highway Commission, conveying all of the Ci.tyts right, title and
interest in and to the hereinafter described property, situated in
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, and being more particularly de-
scribed as follows:
.073 of one acre of land, more or less, same being
out of and a part of -Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 7,
Caldwood Acres Addition, a subdivision of a portion
of the C. Williams Survey,.Abstract No. 59 in the
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, according
to a map or plat of said subdivision of record in
Volume 5., Page 74, Map Records of Jefferson County,
which .073 of one acre of land, more or less, same
being out of and a part of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block
7, Caldwood Acres Addition was conveyed to the City
of Beaumont by deed dated August 16, 1955 and August
17, 1955 of record in Volume 994, Pages 152, 153 and
179 and more particularly described as follows:
The north 8 feet of Lots 15 2 and .3 and the north 10
feet of Lot 4, Block 7, Caldwood Acres Addition;
and The City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instrument
and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
PASSED by the City Council this 16th day of June, A.D. 1964.
