AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER A GENERAL WARRANTY
DEED TO HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
TEXAS, CONVEYING TWO (2) PARCELS OF LAND OUT OF
THE BEAUMONT IMPROVEMENT SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT., TEXAS:
That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute and
deliver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a General Warranty
Deed conveying to Housing Authority of The City of Beaumont, Texas,
two (2) parcels of land out of the Beaumont Improvement Companyts
Subdivision, Tracts Nos. 125, 126, and 127, James Drake Survey, Ab-
stract No. 18, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, Parcel No. 1 con-
taining 2.7825 acres of land, more or less, more particularly de-
scribed in deed dated this date, save and except a 30 -foot wide
drainage easement across said Parcel No. 1, as described in said
deed; Parcel No. 2 containing 3.615 acres of land, more or less,
more particularly described in said deed dated this date, save and
except a drainage easement in and across Parcel No. 2 as described
in said deed; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to
said instrument and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont there-
to.
PASSED by the City Council this 9th day of June, A.D. 1964.
