ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A
15 -FEET WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT IN FORMER 17TH STREET
RIGHT OF WAY BETWEEN CALDER AVENUE AND McFADDIN
AVENUE, ADJACENT TO LOT'S 1 AND 24, BLOCK 10, JARRETT
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY,
TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:

That that certain 15 -feet wide utility easement described as follows:
Tract No. 1. Being the Western fifteen (15) feet
wide strip of land of the former 17th .Street lying
adjacent to Lot 24, Block 10, of the Jarrett Addi-
tion to The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, the West line of said easement being the
East line of said Lot 24;
Tract No. 2. Being the Western fifteen (15) feet
wide strip of land of the former 17th Street lying
adjacent to Lot 1, Block 10, of the Jarrett Addi-
tion to The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, the West line of said easement being the East
line of said Lot 1;
This does not include abandonment across the exten-
sion of 20 -feet wide East. -West alley in Block 10,
which is hereby expressly excepted;
be, and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned, and that title to
such property shall revert to and become the property of the persons
entitled thereto, as provided by law; and The City of Beaumont here-
by relinquishes any and all right, title and interest it had or may
have had in and to such utility easement.
