ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PROPER
OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND
DELIVER FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
A QUITCLAIM DEED CONVEYING ALL OF THE CITYtS RIGHT,
TITLE AND INTEREST IN.AND TO THE NORTH ONE HALF OF
THE ABANDONED RIGHT OF WAY OF THE MISSOURI PACIFIC
RAILROAD COMPANY ADJACENT TO AND ABUTTING LOT 17,
BLOCK 19, OF THE JARRETT ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, TO E. I. GREEN -
BERG.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That Jack M. Moore, Mayor, be and he is hereby authorized to
execute and deliver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a
quitclaim deed to E. I. Greenberg, conveying all of the Cityts
right, title and interest in and to the hereinafter described
property:
That portion of the North one half (N.1/2) of the
abandoned Missouri Pacific Railroad 100 -foot right
of way lying adjacent to Lot 17, Block 19, of the
Jarrett Addition to The City of Beaumont, according
to the Map or plat of said Addition of record in
the office of the County Clerk of Jefferson County,
Texas;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instru-
ment and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
