10 -FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT IN BLOCK FOURTEEN
(14), McFADDIN HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED
HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That that certain 10 -foot wide utility easement described as fol-
lows:
BEING a ten (10) foot wide strip of land making an
L -shape in Block 14 of McFaddin Heights Addition,
extending from Maple Avenue to Gulf Street,save and
except two (2) St x 5F squares..i.n Lots Nos. 4 and
10, more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at'a point in the North line of Lot 1 of
said Block 14 and in the South line of Maple Avenue,
said point being five (5) feet West of the Northeast
corner of Lot 1 and Northwest corner of Lot 7, and
being 170 feet East of the Southeast corner of the
intersection of Gulf Street and Maple Avenue;
THENCE South along a line parallel to and five (5)
feet West of the East line of hots 1, 2 and 3 and
the West line of Lots 7, 8 and 9, for a distance of
145 feet;
THENCE West along a line parallel to and five(5)
feet North of the South line of Lot 3 and the North
line of Lot 4 for a distance of 170 feet to point .
in the East line of Gulf Street and the West line of
Lot 3;
THENCE South along the East line of Gulf Street and
along the West line of hots 3 and 4 for a distance
of ten (10) feet;
THENCE East along a line parallel to and five (5)
feet South of the North line of Lot 4 and the South
line of Lot 3 for a distance of 170 feet;
THENCE North for a distance of five (5) feet to a
point in the North line of Lot 4 and the South line
of Lot 3;
THENCE East along the North line of Lots 4 and 10
and the South line of Lots 3 and 9 for a distance of
ten (10) feet;
THENCE North along a line parallel to and five (5)
feet from.the West line of Lots 7, 8 and 9, and the
East line of hots 1, 2 and 3 for a distance of 150
feet to a point in the South line of Maple Avenue
and in the North line of Lot 7;
THENCE West along the South line of Maple Avenue and
along the North line of Lots, 7 and• 1. f.or.l"-Ia d.i:.stance-.=of ten
(10) feet, to the place of beginning;
be, and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned, and that title
to such property shall revert to and become the property of the
persons entitledthereto, as provided by law; and The City of Beau
mont hereby relinquishes any and all right, title and interest it
had or might have had in and to such utility easement.
