ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A 20. -FOOT WIDE NORTH --SOUTH ALLEY IN BLOCK 20
OF THE JARRETT ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAU-
MONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED
HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS.-
That
EXAS:
That the following described North-South alley in Block No.
Twenty (20) of the Jarrett.Addition to The City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, described as follows:
That 20 feet wide North-South alley in Block
20 of the Jarrett Addition to The City of
Beaumont, Texas, said alley lying between Lots
13--17, inclusive, on the west side and bots
18-»22, inclusive, on the east side, said alley
being 125 feet in length and extending from
the abandoned Missouri -.Pacific Railroad right
6f way to the south line of the 12 feet wide
East-West alley in Block 20;
be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, and that; title
to said alley shall revert to and become the property of the
parties entitled thereto by law.
PASSED by the City Council this 4th day of May, 1965.
