ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A
20 --FOOT WIDE ALLEY IN BLOCK 40, McFADDIN SECOND
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON
COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the following described 20. -foot wide alley in Block Forty (40),
McFaddin Second Addition to The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, and that
title to said alley shall revert to and become the property ofithe
parties entitled thereto by law, said alley being described as fol-
lows:
Being that certain 20 feet wide alley in Block 40,
McFaddin Second Addition to the City of Beaumont,
Texas; said alley being 300 feet in length and ex-
tending from the West line of the 60 feet wide
Fourth Street to the East line of the 60 feet wide
Fifth Street, said alley being located 1/2 block
North of Long Avenue and 1/2 block South of Ashley
Avenue and said -alley being bounded on its South by
Lots 1-6, inclusive, of Block 40, and on its North
side by Lots 7-.12, inclusive, of Block 40.
PASSED by the City Council this 28th day of September, 1965.
