ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A
5.3 FEET WIDE UTILITY BASEMENT ALONG THE COMMON
LOT LINE OF LOTS 8 AND 9 OF BLOCK.4 OF TERRACE
ESTATES ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS,
AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That that certain 5.3 feet wide utility easement described as fol-
lows:
Being the East 5.3 feet of that certain 10 feet
wise utility easement in and along and 5 feet
on .each side of the common lot line of Lots 8
and 9 in Block 4 of Terrace Estates Addition to
The City of Beaumont,.Texas;extending from the
South line of Estate Drive to the North line of
the 10 feet wide utility easement along the 70
feet wide drainage easement along the South line
of said Block 4; said 5.3 feet width being 130
feet long; and said 5.3 feet width being in the
West 5 feet of Lot 9 and the East 0.3 feet of Lot
8;
be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, and that title to
such property shall revert to and become the property of the per-
sons entitled thereto, as provided by law; and The City of Beaumont
hereby relinquishes any and all right, title and interest it had
or might have had in and to such utility easement.
PASSED by the City Council this 20th day of July, 1965.
