AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED TO THE STATE
OF TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS.-
That
EXAS:
That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to execute on behalf
of The City of Beaumont the Deed dated July 5, 1966'quitclaiming
to the State of'Texas all of the Cityfs right, title, interest, and
claim to the following described property:
BEGINNING at a point on -the existing North right-
of-way line of Interstate Highway 10 and the: -north
line of Lot No. 10,.of the J. B. Langham Senior
Subdivision in the A. Williams Survey, Abstract 385,
of the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
THENCE South 89° 32t 5411 West for a distance of
385.25 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING OF THE TRACT
HEREIN CONVEYED;
THENCE North 00-351 5011 West for a distance of 596.88
feet to a point for corner;
THENCE South 880 56, 4011 West for a distance of 10.0
feet to a point for corner;
THENCE South 00 351 5071 East for a distance of 596.88
feet to a point for corner;
THENCE North 890 321 54" East for a distance of 10.0
feet to the point of Beginning;
Said tract containing:0:137 acres of land, more of
less.
