QUITCLAIM DEED CONVEYING ALL OF THE CITYIS RIGHT,
TITLE AND INTEREST IN AND TO THE SOUTH ONE HALF OF
THE ABANDONED MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD RIGHT OF
WAY ADJACENT TO AND ABUTTING LOT EIGHT (8), BLOCK
THIRTY (30) OF THE JARRETT ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, TO DR.-CLAUDE .

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT_, TEXAS:
That Jack M..Moore, Mayor, be and he is hereby ;:authorized to ex-
ecute and deliver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a
quitclaim deed to Dr. Claude J. Hammond, -conveying all of the
Ci.tyts right, title and interest in and to the hereinafter de-
scribed property:
The south one half (1/2) of that portion of the
abandoned Missouri Pacific Railroad Company
(Beaumont, Sour Lake and Western Railroad Company)
right of way adjacent to and abutting Lot Eight
(8), Block Thirty (30) of the Jarrett Addition to
The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, as
the same appears on the map or plat of said Addi-
tion on file in the office of the County Clerk of
Jefferson County, Texas;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instru-
ment and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
PASSED by the City Council this 28th day of June, 1966.
