ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
FOUR (4) DEDICATED ALLEYS IN BLOCKS NOS. 3, 4,
AND 5 OF THE LAUREL HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS,,AS
DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the following described dedicated alleys in Blocks Nos.
3, 4, and 5 of the Laurel Heights Addition to The City of Beau -
Mont., Jefferson County, Texas, be and the same are hereby
vacated and abandoned, and that title to said alleys shall re-
vert to and become the property of the parties entitled thereto
by law, said alleys being described as follows:
Being four (4) dedicated alleys in Blocks Nos.
3, 4, .and 5 of the Laurel Heights Addition to
the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,. Texas,
as shown on the Map or Plat of said Addition on
file of record in Volume 7, Page 19, Map Records
of Jefferson County, Texas, and being more par-
ticularly described as follows:
(a) Alley in Block No. 3; Laurel Heights Addi-
tion, running in a'northerly and southerly
direction between Liberty Avenue and the aban-
doned B..S.L. &:W. Railroad right of way, and
lying between Lots 1, 2 and 3 on the West and
Lot 4 on the East in Block No. 3;
(b) Two (2) alleys in Block No. 4, Laurel
Heights Addition to the City of Beaumont, said
two alleys being more particularly described as
follows, to wit:
(1) Alley running.in a northerly and south::
erly direction between Laurel Avenue and
Liberty Avenue, and lying between Lots 15 2,
3, 4, 5, and 6 on the West and Lots % and 37
on the East in said Addition;
(2) Alley running in an Easterly and West-
erly direction parallel to Liberty Avenue
and -Laurel Avenue lying South of Tots 26 to
37, inclusive, in said Block No. 4, and
North of Lots % to 23, inelusive, in Block
No. 4 of said Addition;

(c) alley in Block No. $,-Laurel Heights addition
running in an :Easterly and Westerly direction par-
allel with Laurel avenue and Liberty Avenue and
lying between Lots 3 to 10, inclusive, Block No. .5,
on the.North of said alley, and Lots 11 to 13, in-
clusive., on.the South of said alley in Block No. 5,
Laurel Heights Addition to The City of'Beaumont.
PASSED by the City Council this 30th day of August, 1966.
