ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING PINE STREET
BETWEEN MAIN STREET AND TEVIS STREET AS A ONE-WAY
STREET FOR NORTH BOUND VEHICULAR TRAFFIC; REPEAL-
ING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES, AND.PROVIDING A SAVINGS
CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
Section 1.
It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person in charge

of any vehicle to drive same on the following described portion
of ,the following named street except in the direction specified
when signs indicating the direction of traffic are erected and
maintained at every intersection where movement in the opposite
direction is prohibited:
Pine Street from its intersection with Main
Street ,�to its intersection with Tevis Street,
traffic to move in a northerly direction only.
The provisions of this section shall be constr.•ued as es-
tablishing what is commonly known as a tt'One-Way Streettt on the
street named and between the points described; and the purpose of
said provision is to make it unlawful to drive vehicles into or
upon said area of said street except in the direction named.
Section 2.
This ordinance shall be and is hereby declared to be cumu-
lative of all ordinances in The City of Beaumont,.Texas, and shall
not operate to repeal or affect any such ordinance or ordinances
except insofar as the provisions of such ordinance or ordinances
are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordi-
nance, in which instance or instances these provisions shall be and
they are hereby repealed..
