ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER
A GENERAL WARRANTY DEED TO SAM J..MAILEY AND
WIFE, .ROSE MARY.MALLEY, CONVEYING 1,750 SQUARE
FEET OF LAND OUT OF.IAT 12, BLOCK 22,_OF THE
JARRETTE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
JEFFERSON COUNTY, -TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT P TEXAS:
That the Mayor be and.he is hereby authorized to execute and
deliver for and on behalf of The. City of'Beaumont a general
warranty deed conveying to Sam J. Malley and wife, Rose Mary
Malley, the following described tract of land, to wit:
Being the west fourteen (14) feet of the south
one hundred twenty-five (125) feet of Lot 12,
Block 22, Jarrette Addition to the City of Beau-
mont, Jefferson County, .Texas; and being more
particularly described by metes .and bounds as
follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot
12, said point lying in.the !East line of 17th
Stbeet as now established and also being in the
North line of a twelve (12) feet wide alley in
said Block 22;
Thence 'East along the South line of said Lot 12
or the North line of said twelve (12) feet wide
alley fourteen (14) feet to corner in.the West
line of Interstate 10 -North as now established;
Thence -North along the -West line of said Inter-
state 10 -North as now established one hundred
twenty-five (125) feet to corner, said point lying
fifteen (15) feet South of the South line of Cal-
der Avenue as now established or the North line of
said Lot 12;
Thence -West along a line parallel with and fifteen
(15) feet South of the said South line of Calder
Avenue as now established or the North line of
said Lot 12 fourteen (14) feet to corner in the
West line of said Lot 12 or the East line of 17th
Street as now established;
Thence South along the West line of said Lot 12
or the East line of 17th Street as now established
one hundred twenty-five (125) feet to the place of
beginning;.
The above described tract contains 1,750 square
feet of land;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said in-
strument and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
